Nik Aziz yakin hudud diterima

KOTA BHARU: Mursyidul Am PAS, Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat yakin hudud akan diterima walaupun mendapat tentangan termasuk daripada parti komponen dalam pakatan pembangkang sendiri.

Beliau berkata, hudud belum menjadi kebiasaan kerana belum pernah dengar mengenainya selain orang Islam sendiri yang tidak mahukan hukuman itu. "Saya tetap yakin hudud akan diterima seperti yang berlaku kepada politik Islam yang sebelum ini ditentang pihak tertentu.
"Sekarang kita (PAS) hanya membuat `windows (jendela) untuk membolehkan perkara ini (hudud) diketahui ramai sebelum membuat pintu untuknya nanti. Saya pasti ia (hudud) akan diterima kerana kini banyak kejadian rogol dan zina. Hanya hudud dapat mengatasi kejadian seperti itu," katanya dalam kuliah mingguannya di Dataran Ilmu, di sini semalam.

MY COMMENTS:

Not so many people in Malaysia really know the hudud law in Malaysia, regardless whether they are non-Muslims or Muslims themselves. And it is normal for the people today not to accept something which is good just because they do not know about it. What to do.... hudud law is portrayed as cruel and evil by the media all over the world.

So what do most people know about hudud law? They only know that if you steal, your hands will be cut off, thats all they know.

If they really know how fair the hudud law is to humans regardless whether you are a Muslim or non-Muslim, no one will object to its implementation.

The way I see it at the very least Nik Aziz have the balls to try and implement it.

Note:
I am not a fan of any form of the current democracy being practice today.
The hudud law cannot be implemented correctly without the correct administration to run the country. Example: Zakat system must run first before laws such as cutting hands for people who steal be implemented.
